Some people like to call them Graphic Novels and other people call the comics. I think comics are cool because you can read and look at the funny pictures at the same time. My favourite comic books are all of the Garfields, all of the Bones and all the Amulets. I don’t like reading graphic novels that much, but I do like reading books like Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries. I don’t like reading thick thick books that much but sometimes I like to read them when my sister is having a fit or when she is annoying me and won’t be quite. My sister can read comic books but some words she can't read and needs help with. My mom and dad love comic books, they even have a room where you read comic books with a couch to read on.
Sometimes adults don’t like comic books because there is no knowledge in it, but it actually is not supposed to because it is for people to enjoy and to sit back and read. Some kids don’t like comic books and think it is dumb to have comic books but at least some people like them.

ReplyDeleteI like comic books because they are entertaining and some of them are very funny. My favourite comic book is Garfields I also like Archie books to. I don`t know exactly how many comic books I have read. My dad my brother and I like comic books.
My mom likes comic books but since she does not have alot of time she can not read them that offten, but she would rather read thicker books. I am very happy that comic books exist.

I absolutely love comic books such as garfield big nate and peanuts (Charlie brown). I do not have a favourite comic book but I like two equally they are Garfield and big nate. In class we are making comics mine is about a ninja that goes to get some waffles and becomes a ninja. I have read OVER NINE THOUSAND comics (More like 90). This is a bit of a small comment but it told you what you want to know so Peace.

Good job twilight. What made you think writing about comic books? Do you like Dear Dumb Diary? I like to read comic books but not all the time. I usually like to read chapter books. How many comics have you read.

ReplyDeleteYes I like comics, I do not love to read them all the time thought. I am that kind of that person that like them every so often. So in final they are fun to read and a nice relaxing book.
I might have a favourite comic example dork diaries, smile or possibly Garfield. I personally like those out of all the ones you said.
How many comic books have I read. That's a question I don't know. I don't read a lot of comics and all of the sets of them so about 15 or less.

I have a few favorite comic books her are some of my favorites like amulet,diary of a wimpy kid,Garfield, bone books.I have read some many comic book series that I lost track how many I read.I like comic books sometimes I read some comic books when my tablet die's so I just go up to my room and relax.

fantastic.I like comics because they fill you with laughter.My favourite comic is annoying orange because it makes me laugh so much I cry.I read at least 50 a day unless i'm at school.On the weekend I read 100 comics.

Yes, I do like comics because it has cool pictures and I like it. I don't read comics that much and some I just look at pictures going through very fast. My favourite comic garfield because he fat and funny. Garfield is like the one who is the main character and I no why hates Monday because its the starting of the week and it is starting of school week.

My favourite graphic novel is by far Diary of a wimpy kid. It is so funny, I think my favourite book is the newest book the long hall.My second favourite book is diary of a wimpy kid dog days.I don't really read picture comic books (except Garfield). I only have read the diary of a wimpy series and a couple of Garfield comics. -bowwow12
ReplyDeleteWell, of COURSE I love comic books! I like comic books because they are funny, and for some reason they really interest me. I don't know why, but I really like them. My favourite comic book is the Big Nate series. I like the Big Nate series because it is funny, and it interests me. I don't know why it interests me so much... Maybe when I was born somebody put a good curse on me to like Big Nate books. I doubt it, but who knows? Anything is possible. Actually, that's not possible.
ReplyDeleteWell, I already said what my favourite comic book is and why, so instead of telling you my favoruite comic book again, I will tell you my favourite graphic novel. Well, my favourite graphic novel series is the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. My favourite book so far of that series is the most recent book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid The long Haul. That book was HILARIOUS. I've read it three times in a row already, and my Mom was getting angry that I wasn't reading something else. So, then I went on to the bone series. But then Christmas came along, and I got a book series called 'The Invasion of the Overworld.' It's an actual book about Minecraft. One day, he was in the basement playing Minecraft on his Dad's computer, which he knew he wasn't supposed to be using. And when his Dad came back for work, he was in a hurry to get off of the computer. But, when he was putting all of his stuff away, one of the screwdrivers fell off of the dsk and hit something that was hooked up to the computer. It was a thing that teleported you into the current program that was running, and he got electrocuted by it and then, got teleported into Minecraft. Well, I think that was enough said.
Oh my, I have read a lot of comic books. I don't know how many but a lot. Iv'e read some books of the Bone series, and almost all of the Big Nate's.
Well, I think that that's enough for today.

ReplyDeletebut there is a difference between graphic novels and comics. Graphic novels make a story unlike comics which can make a story for a couple pages but then it stops not like in a graphic novel where the whole thing is a story. Anyways yeah I like comics and the Big Nate's are my favorite.
I have read lots of comic books for example, Big Nate's, Garfield's, Amulet and many others. I really like comics and think that are awesome.

I love comic books, mostly because I love how their pictures are really cute and kind of 3d. Their drawings have a lot of characteristics like the eyes, nose, mouth and even rooms.I also really like comic books because you don't need to write that much. But whatever you write you have to really imagine what the story looks like. I also think comic books are much harder to do than normal books. Mostly because in books you can just write as much as you want. But in comic books you can only write the things that are important. The only thing is that you can't always find out what is the most important thing.
My favourite comic would have to be Dork Diaries, Smile, and Bone. I like them because what they write the most important things. I also really like how they make their pictures. I enjoy that Smile is based on a real story. I like Dork Diaries because it tells exactly what day, month and year it is.I'm a huge fan of bones mostly because I like how they are using their imagination. My favourite character in Bones is Fone Bone. My favourite character in Dork Diaries would be Nikki. And my favourite character in Smile is Rianna.I have read all nine Bones,3 of the Dork diaries ,5 of the Garfield , 2 of the Diary of a Wimpy kid, Smile, Drama and Sisters. So that means I read 22 comics.

The comics that are in the Lego club magazines also have some pretty cool comics like Star wars and Ultra agents. I think I have read over 50 COMICS!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite comic book is Garfield mostly because it's the only comic I have read. I like Garfield because he is a cat. I love cats. I also like Oddie his big pink tounge is funny. My favorite part about Garfield is Garfield.
I've read about 5 or 6 Garfield books and that's it. I barely read comic books because I don't have any. The reason I don't have any is my parents don't like comics. I don't know why my parents don't like comics. I loved your blog.

ReplyDeleteI read comic books to. First of all graphic novels are longer than comics and comics are usually just strips of max 9 panels whereas graphic novels are like chapter books all and one story.
I like comic books but I like graphic novels better. My favorite comic is probably Garfield because he is super funny and there are a lot of Garfield comic books. I don't know how many comic books I have read but certainly a lot.
