Marty Chan's visit
This week was amazing! The author Marty Chan came to help us improve our writing skills. Everyone knows that if you are in a higher grade you don't get to play as many games. But with Marty Chan we played a few games to get us going in starting our rough draft. Marty told us about the fourth floor of his school being haunted. At one point he said "BOO!" and we all jumped out of our seats. We were so scared we never knew if he was going to say it again. Marty Chan was probably the most fun we have had so far!

I was in such a comfortable position that when he said boo I jumped up in my chair just a little bit.He makes everything so fun especially the games .I like how when he sees somebody he doesn't say his or her name and he explains it so if somebody else did it too he or her can fix it right away.

When he talks he never says the peoples names, that way you get a good look of them without seeing them. Even if you can't see them you know who they are.

When I first heard the story of his school I thought its funny but it turned out very scary that I really jumped out my seat. I also enjoyed really much of his stores and games too!

He wrote 6 according to TD Canadian Children's Book Week.

They even wanted to switch places with me. He has helped us all become better writers. I wish he could stay for ever. Best week ever!

Dr Future,I think he has written more than one book.I like frozen brains,he told us the story about how the book got its name.I wonder if he ever did eat frozen brains?I would love to read his new series Barnabas Bigfoot!What's your favorite book from Marty Chan?

When I heard the story of his school I thought WOW I would love to be in a school like that because I would be at the edge of my seat the whole class.I would stay on the first floor and then the 2nd floor then the 4th floor.It will be awsome.I also love that Marty Chan played lots of games.HE is also really funny.

Yeah Marty was awesome he was so helpful and funny. He really made us jump with his story which just proves how good of a righter he is. I am very curious about other peoples storys

When he was telling us his haunted school story at first I thought this is not scary but it all made it scary when he said boo! every one in my class jumped out of their chairs. He can describe things very good . He is totally awesome

Marty Chan is a famous author he won a gold medal for one of his serious.The books in the serious were The Orange Seed Truth and Other Lies Mothers Tell and the Mystery of the Graffiti Ghoul. Other books Marty Chan wrote were Something Dead and Evil Lurks in the Cemetery and It's my dad, the Bone House, Maggie's Last Dance and more. Marty Chan is my new favourite author. My favourite book Marty Chan wrote is the mystery or the Frozen Brains. I think Marty Chan is the best writer ever that I know of.
