Hockey equipment

I'm going to talk about hockey equipment and how expensive it can get. An entire set can be over $400 and that's only used. A new set is over $600. This is why I think that the Hockey Helpers Foundation is a great foundation for people who don't have enough money to buy hockey equipment. Also, sometimes used hockey equipment can cause more damage; for example a helmet can have a crack under the packing. That's why I think the Hockey Helpers foundation is a great foundation.

Space Jump

On October 14, 2012, Felix Baumgartner jumped out of a capsule at an altitude of 39km breaking the sound barrier during his free fall at a speed of Mach 1.24. It cost 42 Million Dollars to build the capsule and his space suit and many people think this was a historic jump. Others think the money should have been used to help poor countries. Do you think this jump was worth all this money or just a waste of money?

Marty Chan's visit

This week was amazing! The author Marty Chan came to help us improve our writing skills. Everyone knows that if you are in a higher grade you don't get to play as many games. But with Marty Chan we played a few games to get us going in starting our rough draft. Marty told us about the fourth floor of his school being haunted. At one point he said "BOO!" and we all jumped out of our seats. We were so scared we never knew if he was going to say it again. Marty Chan was probably the most fun we have had so far!
